Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the DAYS app (the "App"), published by Boring Apps SRL ("Boring Apps", "we", "us"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. The App

DAYS lets you create countdowns to (and counts up from) dates that matter to you, and show them as Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy widgets. The App is provided free of charge.

2. Licence

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, in line with the Apple Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement and these Terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as permitted by law.

3. Your content

The countdowns and settings you create are yours. You're responsible for the content you enter and for keeping your own backups where that matters to you. Sync and storage of your content are described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and not to misuse it, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access it in ways other than the interface we provide.

5. iCloud, notifications and the operating system

Some features rely on Apple services and your device settings — for example iCloud sync and local notifications. Their availability and behaviour depend on Apple and on your device configuration, and are outside our control. Widget refresh timing is determined by iOS.

6. Updates and changes

We may update, change or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also release updates that you need to install for the App to keep working properly.

7. Free app; no purchase required

The App is currently offered for free. If we introduce optional paid features in the future, any charges and terms for those will be presented to you before you buy, and handled through the App Store.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that reminders and widgets will always display or fire at a particular time. Do not rely on the App as the sole reminder for critical events.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Boring Apps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the App.

10. Third-party terms

Your download and use of the App are also subject to the terms of the App Store and of Apple. Where these Terms conflict with Apple's applicable terms, Apple's terms govern that conflict for the App obtained through the App Store.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the place of business of Boring Apps SRL, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
