Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Boring Apps SRL ("Boring Apps", "we", "us") handles information in connection with the DAYS app (the "App"). By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

We designed DAYS to work without collecting personal information. Specifically:

• No account. The App has no sign-up and no login. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number.
• No tracking or analytics. We don't use advertising IDs, third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and we don't build a profile of you.
• No ads. There is no advertising in the App, so no ad networks receive your data.

2. Content you create

The countdowns you add — their titles, dates, emoji, colours, tags, reminder settings and archive state — are your content. This content is:

• stored locally on your device; and
• if iCloud is enabled on your device, synced across your devices through your own private iCloud (Apple's CloudKit), under your Apple Account.

Except for a countdown you explicitly share (see 3. Share links below), we do not operate our own servers for your countdowns and we cannot read your content. iCloud sync is handled entirely by Apple; your data sits in your personal iCloud storage, not ours. Apple's handling of that data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

3. Share links

DAYS lets you share a countdown with someone by creating a share link. This is the one case where a countdown leaves your device and iCloud:

• When you choose to share, the App sends that single countdown's content (its title, notes, date, emoji, colour and similar fields) to our server, which stores it and returns a short link.
• Anyone with the link can open it in the App or see a preview page. To build that preview, our server can read the shared countdown's content.
• Only countdowns you explicitly share are sent. Countdowns you don't share are never transmitted to us — they stay on your device and in your private iCloud, as described above.
• Shared countdowns are automatically deleted from our server after one year. After that the link stops working; you can create a new one at any time.

Please don't put sensitive information in a countdown you intend to share: anyone you send the link to — and our server, for as long as the link exists — can read it.

4. Notifications

If you turn on a reminder for a countdown, the App schedules a local notification on your device. These reminders are generated on-device and are not sent through us. You can disable them at any time in Settings → DAYS → Notifications.

5. Widgets

Home Screen, Lock Screen and StandBy widgets read your countdowns from your device to display them. Widget data stays on the device and is not transmitted to us.

6. How your information is used

Because we don't collect your personal data, we don't use it for anything. Your content is used only to provide the App's features on your own devices.

7. Sharing and disclosure

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and there are no third-party advertisers or data brokers involved. The only outside party is Apple, and only to the extent you use iCloud sync and the App Store. The single case where content leaves your device is a share link you create yourself, described in 3. Share links above — that content goes to our own server, not to a third party.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your content stays until you remove it. Deleting a countdown removes it from your synced devices. Deleting the App removes its on-device data; content held in your iCloud can also be managed or removed through your device's iCloud settings. Aside from share links, we don't hold your data, so there is nothing on our side to request deletion of. A countdown you've shared via a link is held on our server for up to one year (see 3. Share links) and is deleted automatically after that — or sooner if you ask us at the contact address below.

9. Children

DAYS is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Security

Your content is protected by your device's security and, when synced, by Apple's iCloud security. We recommend keeping your device and Apple Account protected with a passcode and two-factor authentication.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Since DAYS holds your content on your own devices and in your own iCloud — and we hold no personal data about you — you can exercise these directly on your device. 12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
